INDEPENDENT AUDIT A significant proportion of our work has been the independent technical auditing of contractor's transportation and lifting proposals. Acting on behalf of the Client or Managing Contractor, we carry out a comprehensive appraisal of the contractor's proposed method of working and perform a design check of relevant parts of the permanent and temporary works. This is followed up with site attendance to monitor the contractor's compliance with the agreed procedures. Throughout our appraisal we carefully consider the contingency plans that could be provided against a failure of supply or performance of equipment. Our objective is to assist in the development of a safe and efficient operational plan that has the minimum risk of programme overrun and complies with all the relevant statutory regulations. |
